SSAT，全称Secondary School Admission Test，是美国中学入学考试，适用于美国、加拿大私立中学的入学，是申请者所必须具备的一个考试成绩。主要测试学生的英语词汇，阅读理解和写作能力及数学知识和解决问题能力。

本系列图书是根据考试委员会的考试指导，由有着多年教授SSAT 的经验的教师们编写而成。主要特点是系统地帮助学生学习和复习SSAT 相关的英文阅读，词汇，写作及数学内容，从根本上解决学生在考试过程中遇到的各种问题。

本系列有两个级别，SSAT 中级和SSAT高级。每个级别有上下两册。每个级别有四个部分：英语词汇，英语阅读，英语写作和数学；各有12个课程。按照每周完成每部分一课的学习计划，做到三个月提高考试成绩，攻克SSAT。

This series is designed by following the official guide of SSAT Test Committee and written by a group of experienced teachers, who have been teaching SSAT for many years. The main feature of this series is to help students learn and review the test contents in a systematic way.

This series has two levels: Middle Level and Upper Level. Each level has two books: Volume 1 and Volume 2. Each level has four parts which are vocabulary, critical reading, writing and math and each part has twelve lessons. If students follow the study plan of one lesson from each part per week, they will finish all the lessons and be well prepared for the test.
